As for Nashville, that's where that Coffee trailer vid on my profile was shot. Portland brew would be my top pick right now, they have a few locations, the one where my vid was shot is @ 1921 Eastland Ave. The other popular place in town is Bongo Java, they have a few locations around town, the one around belmont university has its own unique college vibe, but I would say the roastarie cafe @ 107 S. 11th St. is probably the best for quality. They also run a dog-friendly cafe/coffeehouse called Fido, good food, interesting atmosphere, ok coffee. Next, I would highly recommend seeking out Drew Park of drewsbrews.com (he's the one I interviewed for my vid) He's one of the coolest and most sincere people I know in coffee. You can contact him through his website, and I know there are a lot of places locally that serve up his stuff. Knowing that you're a musician, I highly recommend the Family Wash, live music every night, killer food (try the shepherd's pie!), and they have a espresso machine in house serving Drew's stuff....definitely a cool place where locals hang. Also, I just heard through the grapevine that a placed called Crema just opened serving drews brews, from their website it looks like it's a really quality driven shop...that will be a stop on my itinerary next time through Nashville. Hope that helps, I look forward to hearing about the trip!
